Biography
She was born on September 30, 1987 in Kyiv. Raised in Nizhyn. Finished the The Kyiv Applied College of Tourism and Hospitality. For more than five years she worked in hotels and restaurants. But all this time she was dreaming of becoming an actress. On the advice of friends, Iryna went to the studio of the Theater of Improvisation “Black Square” to master acting. She started working in this theater in 2012, and now she is one of its leading actresses. In 2020, Iryna Hatun became a participant in the main women’s humour project of the country – «Zhenskiy Kvartal». And in December 2023, she moved to «Vecherniy Kvartal», where she became the only woman in the team of comedian actors. Such a transition was not a surprise for Irina. Because for more than a year before that, she was performing together with the guys on the same stage as part of the «Yediniy Kvartal», because during the full-scale war, the «Zhenskiy Kvartal» and «Vecherniy…» united – just as a whole Ukraine united in fighting the enemy.
In 2021, Iryna Hatun starred in the leading role in the comedy «The Big Walk».
In addition, in October 2023, Iryna Hatun joined the Improv Live Show team of improvisers on the «Noviy» Channel.

Charitable activities
Iryna Hatun asks her fans not to give her flowers during the performances and concerts. Instead, to donate those money, which could be spend on flowers, to a special charitable account, and she transfers them to a charity.
Interesting facts
Iryna was born in Kyiv…accidentally. Her family lived and still lives in the city of Nizhyn, Chernihiv region. But the girl decided to be born at the exact moment when her parents came from Nizhyn to the capital to visit friends.
Iryna tried to enter the acting department of the Karpenko – Kary Kyiv National University of Theater, Cinema and Television. But she was refused… because of her age, when they found out that she was already 25 years old. But she did not stop on the way to her dream. And she mastered acting in the studio of the Theater of Improvisation “Black Square”.
