“Crack Them Up. Kids” is an entertaining humourous talent show, in which young participants can earn a solid amount of money, if they will be able to make the judges of the show laugh. Talented, artistic kids from 5 to 13 years old take part in the program. Their main task is to do any type of performance for 1 minute of the original genre (a sketch, an acting miniature, a monologue, a pantomime, a funny poem, a song or any other performance), which will make at least one of two comedians smile. Each of the jury members` reaction is fixed by separated cameras. Their close-ups during the children’s performance are shown on separate monitors, and they are watched by the charming presenter of the project – the popular singer Nastia Kamenskykh, who sincerely sympathizes with our young participants. Jury`s task is not to laugh. If at least one of the comedians smiles, the show participant receives reward money. After that he has a choice: to move to the next round and get a chance to earn an even bigger amount of money or refuse to continue participating, but to get the already earned money. The losing contestant loses everything. 

However, young participants are full of childlike immediacy in their behavior and sincerity in their emotions, with which they can disarm not only two experienced comedians – jury members, but also the audience in the studio, which reacts very actively to everything happening on stage. 

The structure of each episode consists of the diaries of young participants, which tell about them, their families, hobbies and talents, as well as the highlights from the selection casting of the project.

The format of the TV project “Crack Them Up. Kids” became a finalist on PITCH & PLAY format contest, which took place as a part of international TV market NATRE and won the “TV Triumph” National Awards in “New Ukrainian Format” category.
