Biography
He was born on November 9, 1983 in Dnipro, more precisely back then – Dnipropetrovsk. Since his school years, he played in the KVK, was fond of dancing and sports. Has two higher educations. Yurii mastered the first specialty – designer-mechanic of metallurgical equipment… for his father, so that he would allow him to play in the KVK. And for the second education – in the field of finance – Tkach went for the sake of his mother, who wanted a promising profession for her son. And only having two diplomas, Yurii was finally able to do his favorite thing – acting. Yura started playing in the KVK from the first year of university. And then, together with his Dnipro team, he started playing in the «Humour Cup». He joined the team of the «Kvartal 95» Studio in 2019. Yurii is an actor of the «Vecherniy Kvartal», one of the comedians of the humourous project «Crack Them Up» and «Crack Them Up. Kids», a coach in the «Humour Cup». Yurii`s filmography consists roles in such projects, as «Once upon a time in Poltava», «Country U», «Fairytales U», full – length movies «YOU, HE, SHE», «aA Long Walk». In 2024 became a host of the morning show «Wake Up!» on the «My Ukraina+ (We Are Ukraine+)» channel.
Married. He raises a daughter Lisa together with his wife Viktoria.

Intresting facts
Yurii was getting his second higher education together with… his own father! He is a financier by second education. And for his father it was the third highest. According to Yura, his father enrolled with him in the same university and in the same specialty, so that his son could not “drop out” of his studies. So he and his father were sitting together at the same desk for two and a half years…
Yura is good at signing. His voice can be heard in the last soundtrack for «Crack Them Up». At first, he recorded it with Yevhen Koshovyi, and later with Lesia Nikitiuk.
Yurii`s mother is a choreographer, that is why an actor was seriously engaged in dancing. Only in high school, he got brave enough to tell his mother that he likes humour more than dancing. However, Yura`s dancing skills came in handy when he was invited to participate in the “Dancing with the Stars” project, where together with the dancer Ilona Gvozdova, they survived seven episodes. And, by the way, Yurii Tkach`s wife, Viktoria, is also a dancer – European champion in ballroom dancing.
