What will happen, if an ordinary person from the people becomes the president of Ukraine?

Not one of those who, for a quarter of a century, has been promising “the improvement of life in a new way for dear friends”, but one of us?! Not a repainted defector, but NEW, honest,

principled and, most importantly, an intelligent person. Maybe, we will finally start to live a better life?! Exactly these thoughts provoked the Ukrainian nation to choose an ordinary history teacher Vasyl Holoborodko as a president …

Unexpectedly for everyone, the country received a guarantor who lives in an ordinary apartment in the Darnytsia district. Who is peacefully walking across the streets without an army of security guards and easily takes the bus, earns 5000 UAH and sometimes arrows from friend «till salary». Overall, who lives like everyone else. Because he knows for sure – when a president will start to live as an ordinary teacher, soon an ordinary teacher will start living as a president! 

And even though he does not have silver balls and an aspen stake, every morning Vasyl Petrovych goes out to fight the «evil spirit» and tirelessly «fights» with the armada of corrupted and thoroughly rotten officials, cleaning the “Augean stables” of the state, sincerely believing that mother Ukraine will finally recover!

However, there is one thing that he did not take into account. A system in which everyone is used to wickedly stealing, kicking back and swindling – will be against such concern for the people. Interesting – who whom? 

Series «Servant of the People» became the most successful TV – project on Ukrainian television in spring of 2015. The audience share on the day of the premiere – more than 30% (according to the Nielsen company). Overall, the project or its format was sold into more than 20 countries and received a number of awards at international movie festivals. Also, this Ukrainian television movie was bought by the world`s biggest Internet TV platform, Netflix.
