Yevgeniy Koshevoy, actor, anchor
Resume. Yevgeniy Koshevoy is better known by his nickname “Lysyi” (“Bald headed”). He is the youngest member of the “Kvartal 95” team, nevertheless, he is already a star. He is the star-actor among other stars of “Kvartal 95”. He is the only actor with the formal acting education. Yevgeniy earned his degree at Lugansk regional College of Culture and Arts majoring in acting. Later he graduated from Lugansk Institute of Culture and Arts majoring in directing.
Yevgeniy’s career started with KVN (post-soviet humor TV show and competition "Club of the Funny and Inventive”), as well as the career of most of his colleagues. During his first year at college Yevgeniy participated in student KVN team “Kogo pozvat?” (“Whom should we invite?”) Later he started contributing at popular team in Lugansk called “VaBank” (“All in”). Together with the team he started performing at Highest League in Moscow, Kyiv and at Sotchi festivals. In 2004 Yevgeniy Koshevoy was introduced to “Kvartal 95” when “VaBank” was invited to Crimea to participate in “Kvartal 95” project “Tainstvennyi ostrov” (“Mysterious island”). In the end of the year Vladimir Zelenskiy invited Yevgeniy Koshevoy to join their team. This was success from the first moment, meaning from the first performance, for Yevgeniy. His ingenious character, unique appearance and charm touch everyone. He participated in the number of “Kvartal 95” projects, to name a few, “Vecherniy Kvartal” (“Kvartal in the evening”), “Boitsovsky club” (“The fight club”), “Voskresenie s kvartalom” (“Sunday with Kvartal”), “Ukraina, Vstavay!” (“Rise, Ukraine!”), “Vecherny Kyiv” (Kyiv in the evening”), “Rassmeshy Komika” (“Make Comedian Laugh”), “Chisto News” (“Nothing but news”). He starred in TV-movies “Noch v musee” (“The night in the museum”), “Kak kazaki” (“Like kazaks did”), “1+1 doma. Novyi God” (“1+1 at home. New Year”), “1+1 doma. Vosmoe marta” (“1+1 at home. March 8th”) and in numerous feature movies, like “Slujebnyi roman. Nashe vremya” (“Office romance. Our time”), “Rževski protiv Napoleona” (“Rževski against Napoleon”), “8 pervih svidaniy” (“First 8 dates”) and “8 novyh svidaniy” (“New 8 dates”). Yevgeniy Koshevoy participated in the TV-show called “Dancing with the stars 2” at “1+1” TV-channel. He was one of the brightest participants. He also was the host of another TV-show called “Ugadai yaschik” (“Guess the box”) at “1+1” TV-channel as well. He starred in the television film “Sluga naroda” (“The servant of the people”) and in feature comedy “8 luchih svidaniy” (“Best 8 dates”).
Bio: Yevgeniy Koshevoy was born in Kovsharovka of Kharkiv oblast. His family relocated to Alchevsk (Lugansk oblast) in 1989. During the high school Yevgeniy began acting and spent a lot of time at the school theater. After that “Kvartal 95” happened, that turned his world around. He started being one of the leading actors in popular TV-shows, films and television projects. He still manages to find some time for his hobby. Yevgeniy is passionate about cars and speed. Yevgeniy is married. He is the proud father of two beautiful daughters, Varvara and Serafima.
Yevgeniy is a kind and a warm person, he is easy to talk to. It is a pleasure to work with him, and just to be around him.
